On water based courses all equipment is supplied.
  • Bell Boat
  • Paddles
  • Bouyancy aids
  • Fully trained helm.

All participants need to bring clothing suitable for paddling, something comfortable and appropriate for the weather conditions at the time of year. We do recomend waterproofs and sun hat for all courses, you never know what the UK weather can throw at us!

Footwear should be trainers or soft shoes, not wellington boots or heeled/hard shoes/boots.

Further details on course application.

The Single Bladed Paddle - for Bell Boats and Canoes.

Simple and elegant. The single bladed paddle was invented by the North American Indians and used by Canadian trappers and explores. It is the engine for the canoe. The double ended paddle (not pictured) was created by the Inuit and is used with a Kayak.
